A vote for ANYone that does nothing to earn it, is a vote for mediocrity. I vote for the person that I think will protect the Constitution, and promote my values. Quite frankly, my vote doesn't count in national elections. You see, I live in WA, and the Demons have the election process covered, but I sure as heck am gonna vote for the best man IMO.

In a two party democratic system(I know I know representative republic), Mediocrity is usually the best case scenario. Take Bush for instance, his administration has been plagued by mediocrity. Kerry on the other hand would have been much worse than mere mediocrity.
