Good article, but "obviously" this is caused by global warming, so therefore, the supernova is all Bush's fault...

If there were planets around that star, there was most certainly be a period of global warming.
Of course, this is all ancient history now...
As usual, FEMA has no plan of action in the inevitable case that our star goes nova.
