Oh, I'm down with Speed Channel's coverage. I was thinking that there are satellite services (or international networks) that have pay per view coverage, licensed by F1 themselves, with selectable channels for in-car shots all the time.
In other words, once subscribed, go to channel 9762 to see the feed from Button's in-car camera, 9673 for Barrichelo, and so on. It would be neat to see the entire race from in-car, and be able to switch to a certain driver when they're dicing with opponents.

oh I don't know about that
of course there are in car video cameras on some of the cars that are telecast on the Speed Channel

I believe they have that tv setup in Europe with the selectable in car cams, etc.
I know when they come to Indianapolis for the F-1 race there is a huge amount of tv equipment they bring along.
The track workers call it "Bernie-vision"
