Your personification of animals is in your imagination. Animals have no souls, they are incapable of right or wrong. They are capable of using tactics to get what they want. They are capable of discerning whether their masters will react to their actions, but they are incapable of right or wrong.

People are important, animals are property. They are to be used for human ends.
