Of course we'd eat them. Have to be careful not to overcook, though.
1) Wrap dove in bacon & broil. Good w/rice & mushrooms.
2) Marinate (20 min or so enough) & stir fry -- can supplement with chicken if hunting wasn't good. I was going to say "if it wasn't a good day", but every day we'd go out hunting was a good day. Over!

Damned bird of peace eaters.
Can you imagine how horrified the pink (code pink) people would be to learn that people actually eat birds? Leetle, leeetle birds of peace, that never hurt anybody.
I'm sure that some of them would cringe at the thought, right after attending dinner with such peaceful, thoughful, historical figures as Hugo Chavez, Brother Fidel Castro, etc., that people actually consume helpless animals with no choice in the matter.
Thanks for all the recipes, fellow freepers. Now I must go and consume an animal, and lots of cruel byproducts (burp)
