bump for later
ROFLMAO!
The first archaeological dig I ever saw was at Winchester Cathedral in the summer of 1969. I was fascinated, and wanted to become an archaeologist. Unfortunately, my college only offered Classical & Near Eastern Archaeology, so as someone interested in Anglo-Saxon and Celtic, I was out of luck. Maybe someday I'll go on one of those archaeology vacations.
"KNIGHTS
We're knights of the round table
We dance whene'er we're able
We do routines and chorus scenes
With footwork impeccable.
We dine well here in Camelot
We eat ham and jam and spam a lot.
We're knights of the Round Table
Our shows are formidable
But many times we're given rhymes
That are quite unsingable
We're opera mad in Camelot
We sing from the diaphragm a lot.
In war we're tough and able.
Quite indefatigable
Between our quests we sequin vests
And impersonate Clark Gable
It's a busy life in Camelot.
SINGLE MAN
I have to push the pram a lot."
T'is a silly place.

We could all use a little evidence to support the idea that there was at least at one time, an organization dedicated to honor, integrity, and chivalry.
I certainly see little evidence of anyone in existence with those qualities in this day and age.
Bully to those who found it the remains of a building that we can use to build on the myth...
I nominate the U.S. Military.
OMG...I stand corrected...in spades. Thank you for perking me up a bit a reminding me!
We have a small local pizza chain called "MERLIN's Pizza". Apparently they don't have a website........
Found it!......
Merlin's pizza. It magically turns skinny little serfs into great big fat serfs.
Once a king, always a king. But once a knight is not enough!........
It's good pizza! 2 for 1 specials all the time!.........
Seven knights makes a whole week.
LOL!!!!........PFFFT!.......
"Pass the salt, please" takes on a whole new meaning at a table that size!
How ever does Toyota get off naming their car "Avalon?" Is there another meaning for the word?
I understand that the British press wabted the Queen's thoughts on all of this, but she was on the "throne" at the time.
Camelot! Camelot! Camelot! It's only a model.
Fascinating. That's really amaazing. Great finds.
