That is a fascinating choice of words. And I find it hard to believe it comes from an American.
Global power, global reach - and the institutions of power that project it. Perhaps if you had served in the US military instead of choosing to pay homage to the Soviet Union as a hard currency tourist you would recognize these concepts.
