A good question. I would be more afraid of offending God than saving my life (I pray for that strength). What a statement if he hadn't done that, even if the world never knew of it. I must suppose that he will always regret collaborating, and his reporting will be colored by that guilt, i.e. he will become more sympathetic to Islam to justify his action. PS I notice the NZ guy didn't have to do it.
You think God wouldn't understand the human instinct for survival that He placed in us?
Hi widow, I've been thinking about this myself quite a bit. You are so right, God would be watching and to honor Him over life is what we are called to do as followers of Christ (we do no love our life unto death..). To face Christ, the One who died for me, as a martyr I believe would be glorious day. God give us the strength (i.e. Stephen) to stand and to do everything to stand.
