Considering the huge numbers of security breach attempts on aircraft recently, I think we might have to be prepared for the sad possibility that it was a terrorist attack

It seems odd that the attack would occur within a mile of the airport, though. One would think a potential terrorist would wait until the jet reached altitude before triggering their device.

In my mind, the fact that the crash occurred at takeoff - and this aircraft type has a bad record - makes it much more likely to be an accident.

I dont want to start rumors, but anywhere further away from a small airport would have fewer people witnessing the crash...or missile shot at the plane??

But, I doubt this is terror, the plane is too small to be a high value target.
