Nice thing about the Little Ice Age was that it led to the Golden Age of Beer.
Grapes for wine could no longer be cultivated in Northern Europe and thus Brewing Beer became prevalent.

I didn't remember that. I was told that many years ago by a beer-mister who worked for Ambrosia Brewing Company.. For you Chicagoans, do you remember Nectar Beer?? Mayor Richard J. Daley's favorite watering hole.. :)
