I don't think they use pluto, it's only 16th magnitude and you need a huge telescope to see it. Astrology was invented back when only naked eye stars/planets could be used.
But the humor of your question is still good.

Astrology very much uses Pluto.
because Pluto is ingrained in the consuming public's mind as a planet, they will probably keep it regardless of any demotion Pluto might suffer. (After all, our own moon, which is far more plausibly influential than any of the outer planets, is part of the listing, even though it is not a planet.)

Pluto is what the astrologers call a "generational planet". It moves so slowly through the sky that its influence or effect doesn't change very much from day to day, or even year to year. So I don't think this'll affect anybody's calculations that much.
. . . hey, I had a misspent hippie youth reading Tarot cards and casting horoscopes, what can I say?

Have they decided to add the other three new planets? So we have a net 11?

They don't even use Uranus and Neptune that I've seen - just the planets visible to the ancients.

Hmmmm. Not to say that I believe in astrology, but there is far more evidence for astronomical influence on earthly life than there is for the possibility that the earth was created 4000 years ago. The sun is linked to day and night, and some amazing temperature differences between the two. The moon is linked to the tides, and is amazingly correlational to the female menstrual cycle in human females. Venus keeps one face towards earth all the time, which would indicate that earth has some influence on Venus, although it is most likely only gravitational. Venus also orbits the sun in 270 days, which, coincidentally, is also the length of the gestational period of human fetuses. There is also some evidence of an 11-year sunspot cycle, which coincidentally is the length of time it takes for Jupiter to circle the sun. While most of astrology is a stretch from tidal and gravitational influences, there still is some basis for the study of the physiolo9gical influences of gravity and magnetism of neighboring celestial objects.
I have been saying for years that Pluto is not a planet, and now I feel vindicated.

Yes it will. And now they can correct for their shortcomings using "Xena".

Reclassification of Pluto will have zero effect on astrologers or astronomers or NASA or any agency. If it is classified wetlands it might get some environazi NGO or non-profit funding.

Poor Pluto! Bye, bye! You've been disenfranchised.
To: Sam's Army
I've read that before the outer planets were discovered through modern means, some astrological signs had to share a ruling planet, for example Aries and Scorpio were both considered to be ruled by Mars, but when (I think it was) Pluto was discovered, Scorpio got reassigned. I'm sure I've got these signs/planets mixed up, it's been a while...
Now I guess they'll just have to reassign Scorpio back to Mars again, how conveeeeeeenient!

Astrology is a fraud anyway. Doesn't matter if Pluto is a planet or a dog.
