My Amazon parrot loves cats. She even "meows" imitating them.
She will quite often run her beak through the cat's fur behind the ears etc. and the cat will relax and enjoy it for about a half-hour or so at a time.
They're good buddies, but their friendship is pretty much based on the fact that the parrot has a beak that can crunch a broomstick into splinters.

My Amazon parrot loves cats.
Back when I had them, my parrot loved to torment my cat. It would ride on the dogs back as they followed the cat around the apartment. The dog didnt much like cats either.

Sounds cool. My parakeets had no such relationship. The kittens decided they would be tasty. About the only thing we found were the beaks.
