This is a great ad....long but fascinating.
Reminds of the elaborate mousetrap built by Tom in a very early Tom and Jerry toon. that mousetrap used car parts to start an elaborate series of mechanical events that were supposed to culminate in Jerry's destruction.
Rube Goldberg wwould be proud. :)
The best commercial I've seen was from Jack in the Box with George Hamilton.
He said one of the restaurant's new sandwiches was the best thing he's ever tasted........except for the caviar that he ate out of the navel of that supermodel.
I was dumbfounded..........then laughed myself silly.
I'm only at post #250, so I'm not sure if this one has been mentioned:
The absolute WORST commercial on now is for American Airlines Advantage miles. It's a couple who own a store, and in the entry way there is a sensor that rings the doorbell when someone comes in. Some kid sets it off over and over and over (like 20 times I think!). Total overkill, and gives me a bigger headache than "Head On."
Drives me insane, plus if I don't catch it in time to mute it, all 4 of my dogs go berserk thinking there is someone at the door. Grrr!
