Schurman-Kauflin, who runs the Violent Crimes Institute in Atlanta, participated in a 12-month, in-depth study of illegal immigrants who committed sex crimes and murders from January 1999 through April 2006.

I would like to believe this woman and her "in-depth study" but I don't. This is the kind of agendized garbage that the left spews out as scientific fact.
I trust hyphenated women Ph.D's who work at "institutes" based on a one-item output like I trust lawyers or public advocates for minorities, women, homosexuals, abortions, the "homeless" or illegal immigrants....or most Ph.D's from our ivory towers.
This shouldn't be believed or relied on just because it happens to jive with what I might suspect.
When an "in-depth" study comes from a truly reliable source, then I give credence where credence is due.

So what exactly will be a "reliable source"?

If she dropped the hyphen in her name, would you believe her
then?

Throw out the study and the hyphenated PhD that does not take away from the fact that these illegal immigrants are here ILLEGALLY and that alone should be enough to send them packing and start enforcing our borders.

"It appears as if there is a fear that if this is honestly discussed, people will hate all illegal immigrants. So there is silence. …"

I have a hard time buying into this statement. If it were honestly discussed there would be issues brought into the open but that dosn't mean that we will hate illegal immigrants. I don't like the fact that they have broken the law but it doesn't mean that we hate them.

Run a sex offender search on http://www.mapsexoffenders.com/ and you'll realize that you're likely in contact/proximity with multiple rapists (provided you're in a city with any sort of density).

Not to say that the threat from imported offenders is not real, but it is greatly overstated by this writer. There are plenty of homegrown perverts and rapists at loose, and they're every bit as dangerous even though they look and speak differently.

I agree with you. She is all wet. It is probably at least 500,000.
