"Complete and total BS"
What is?
#51.
Do you know how to see which post freepers are responding to?
Yes, I just failed to see any BS in post 51. I was hoping that you could clarify what exactly constituted BS in the aforementioned post.
Don't worry, Peach; that's not going to happen. Besides, we need to get past Aug. 22 first! /sarc
ESCR=Embreyonic Stem Cell Research
The hyposcrisy, in most cases, is due to the common perception that all "contraceptives" only prevent conception. Once that notion is dispelled the hypocrisy usually evaporates away fairly quickly.
Actually, I find it deceptive to call something a contraceptive if it also would prevent implantation.
Call it a "truth in advertising" issue, at that point.
This makes no sense.
Get real.
I don't happen to believe the president is a liar but I can see that you do. This president has been stronger on abortion than any other president in our lifetime including Reagan, but that's not enough for you whiners.
For his pro-life supporter base, President George W. Bush stepped into one of the biggest political landmines of his Presidential career today with his approval of over the counter status for the abortion-causing morning after pill Plan B.
Understatement of the decade.....
He's being completely inconsistent. If killing an embryo for stem cell research is not allowed, neither should killing a baby a few hours after conception- no matter how old the mother is. Bad bad decision.

Actually its completely consistent, he has no law stopping private industry from developing embryonic stem cell lines for research. Gov't doesn't pay for OTC for the most part so that is consistent too.
"Actually, I find it deceptive to call something a contraceptive if it also would prevent implantation."
Amen to that. I choose to call anything that prevents implantation "artificial birth control." (if I am feeling particularly feisty I'll go with "abortatficiants.")
>...If killing an embryo for stem cell research is not allowed, neither should killing a baby a few hours after conception-no matter how old the mother. Bad bad decision.<
Once again, Bush lips sinks ships. Life begins at conception, whether one knows it or not.
You should really read all my posts before making assupmtions. I believe that the president is quite consistent in his actions, I disagree with his choice, but he is consistent. Banning Plan B means little to nothing as long as other forms of abortaficiant birth control remain on the market. That's the ugly little secret Christian groups and the right to life lobby don't want to face.
So you're against the Pill? Because that's how this pill works.

>Let's start with the headline, shall we? Since when does a president "approve" drugs?<
Let's see, because it is an election year?
It sounds like you don't know that this pill prevents conception. Maybe you should read up on it a little.

It sounds like you don't know this pill prevents conception. Maybe you should read up on it a little before you make comments like you agree that this is killing a baby.

Like Ronald Reagan, W now has the blood of the unborn on his hands.
What kind of crap are you spouting anyway? This pill prevents conception and there's no blood on anyone's hands. For crying out loud, you whiners are absolutely going to doom the party.
