Although Bayh is intellectually a lightweight, he is a formidable candidate. He was twice elected governor of Indiana (a Bush state) and has ties to Teddy Kennedy. Dismissing him is simply foolish.
I'm not dismissing Bayh, but I see him at about the George Allen level.
