According to the German standard the proper weight should be around 92 lbs. 135 sounds ginormous,

Sounds like a Shiloh Shepherd to me, also known as King Shepherds. Huge, long-haired, bred to act protective but be sweet with family members. They are very different from my ideal GSD, the sheep tending dog. Incidentally, the tending-style GSD will keep children out of pools, off the road, etc. much better than any guard dog and much more gently than any border collie, lol!
