I know that there are many parts to Mr. Gibson, which is more than you know about him.
I also know that he produced, directed, and co-wrote one of the most beautiful movies on the Passion of Our Lord that has ever been created. For that I will always be grateful to him.
And as I have stated on this thread several times, I know people who know Mr. Gibson personally, not in a superficial way as you know him through the media, and YOU don't know anything about him.
Good statement brigada. And, I agree with you.
Some of the attitudes displayed here and elsewhere seem to deny that any apology was offered, much less the admitted state of mind -- impaired by alcohol -- that Gibson had that night/morning. He admitted his wrongs and is suffering the consequences. Also apparent is that many people evidently don't believe in "forgiveness" that Christ Himself demanded of his followers. We should recognize that a lot of his more "public critics" hated The Passion movie and attacked Gibson for that which was offered. Is it any wonder that many of those same folks were the ones who jumped on this bandwagon to attack him? Gibson deserves our prayerful support at this point.
