To Yankee fans: Thanks to George S. for his pledge to help the Jimmy Fund telethon. As for the team itself, we'll see what happens when this 5 game mini-playoff is over...Sox are not going away. If Yanks were such a great team wouldn't they be up by 13 games like the Mets are?
With all their injuries and struggles, it is a wonder the Beantown team is still trailing. They should be in 1st and not going home after this weekend series.
That is what speaks volumes. This is our B squad that has refused to let the hippy sox catch up with them.
