And this is important...why?
Because most people are too ignorant to realize that it is LEGAL for people to carry.
This is no big deal in Indiana. Much like the right to vote, the right to carry is guaranteed and just about as easy to register for.
Jealousy that they weren't there first??? I dunno know. I don't get it either.
Well at least the reporter properly identified the handgun make model and caliber this time...
The fact that the owner of that firearm was licenced to carry is a great revelation to the story...
The fact that the suspect/perp (depending on what part of the country you are from) was not stupid enough to do anything more after the drop was made on them is probably a good thing as well...I'm sure it had the potential of going bad extremely fast and sure If Mr. Sherlock had had to discharge his weapon to stop any additional threat to anyone.
Sounds to me like Mr. Sherlock practiced great restraint in not discharging his weapon...
And the fact that no action was reported taken against Mr. Sherlock is a great thing!
I will drink a toast to Mr. Sherlock, and thank him for taking his responsibilities seriously!
If I ever failed in my responsibilities, it will be because I ran out of ammunition, but in that time my friends will have had a chance to get away and live.
To convey the immpression that concealed carry is a privilege and not a right.
