That's true. You figure if you don't hear about it, then no one else is thinking about it. I'm glad that it appears they have caught the right guy. I guess we will see how it unfolds in the next days, weeks, months... It's going to be interesting that's for sure.

There are a group of dedicated men and women who work these " cold cases" all over the United States. Those men and women in law enforcement are the true heroes because they work cases when people have long forgotten them. In the end, they usually get their suspect.

Lt. Gen. Suwat Tumrongsiskul said U.S. authorities informed Thai police on Aug. 11 that an arrest warrant had been issued for Karr on charges of premeditated murder. The warrant was sent to Thai police on Wednesday.
At the press conference, Suwat said Karr insisted after his arrest that his crime was not first-degree murder. "He said it was second-degree murder. He said it was unintentional. He said he was in love with the child. She was a pageant queen," Suwat said.
The Thai officer quoted the suspect as saying he tried to kidnap JonBenet for a $118,000 ransom but that his plan went awry and he strangled her to death. Patsy Ramsey, JonBenet's mother, reported finding a ransom note in the house demanding $118,000 for her daughter.

Also, is it possible that this guy is a nutjob? Fantasized that he and JB were in love...but he didn't kill her. Just wanted to be part of the story? Initial reports were that he knew details not put out to the public.

I like the profiler lady on Court TV--Dayle Hinman. I've also seen a show about psychics on Court TV as well. Now those are uncanny. I wonder if any psychics were used for this case at some time or the other?

I gotta pack it in too. Take care.

I happen to believe in psychics. I actually know of one who was working on a case. They can be a useful tool. But you need good ole fashioned shoe leather because a psychic will be torn to shreds in court. A psychics testimony would most likely be not allowed in court as evidence.

Oh I know--you've got to have the evidence. The particular ones I saw that night on Court TV were really good though. They really got the investigators looking in the right places. I know there are probably frauds out there but I believe some people have an extra sense they can tap into.
To: djf
I have no idea what the answers to your questions are. I'm sure the cops will be more forthcoming with information soon.
After that we'll have an indictment to read.

A psychic can provide valuable "insights" on particular evidence. The one I know scares me.
