Why take a whiz on somebody when they do a good thing? Are you so important that it's beneath you?
Regarding your comment - a broken clock is right twice a day. We need a culture where actors (and actresses) opinions are meaningless, because frankly, they are entertainers, not heros, not role models. What we have now is a cult of celebrity - and I don't mean that in a good way.
