The secular left can have their movies. All I want is to see my point of view represented at the box office.

DVC did well overseas but only a moderate success in the US considering the budget involved and the Passion easily thrashes it in the US box office revenue.

The Chronicles were poorly casted and did not really match the expectations, it did well because of the hype and maybe it was a childrens movie, it was not as well made as the LOTR movie.

It wasn't so much a movie for the Secular as it was for the 'bad taste in movies' crowd. TDC was terrible!

Chronicles
The beginning of the battle scene when the animals are charging (it was worth the price of admission when the cats at the front of the charge collide) was good.

What about Hollywood's "shocking expose" about how the Protocols of the Elders of Zion were "true"?

We know them to be a poorly constructed forgery, aped from a similar political smear, but that shouldn't stop Hollywood from adapting them into a "riviting" conspiracy story.

All I want is to see my point of view represented at the box office - I like to see others point of view personally - how can you disagree with something if you do not know what it is?

No one claims that the TDC was based on anything but a work of fiction.

Excuse me for a moment while I go microwave some popcorn...

Okay, I'm back with the popcorn. Incidentally, here's my Consumer Tip of the Day: The "Microwave Popcorn with Movie Theater Butter" from Ralph's Supermarket isn't too bad taste-wise, and it's very cheap. In the 24-pack box it works out to slightly under 25 cents per pack.

angels and demons...

I was disappointed. It was like a rough draft of the DaVinci code..

same type of fixation with women, brown hair and dorky dude. Like a Harvard version of a Tom Clancy protagonist.

I liked DaVinci code book, movie was so-so.

my 2 centavos worth

there are a lot of sane people here in the bay area of San Francisco, it is just the insane ones are loud. There are 4 churchs within two blocks of our home. 2 Baptist, 1 Catholic, and 1 Presbyterian.
