doesn't mean I can't wish for it...especially if they pull another 9/11 on us.

Be careful what you wish for----I just want to remind you how WEAK the US military (and esp. our nuclear deterrent ) actually is these days in light of how the leftist incursion has really burned us down.

In the current climate, nuking some ME target for effect would hurt the USA far more than any number of enemies it would kill.

Yes, I think our military is weak because of this!

Like a pitbull on a chain.

If we had another 9/11, and the president nuked someplace, it would kill maybe 10,000...100,000? This would galvanize the entire world against us. Our navy would be thrown out of every friendly port in the world. Our strategic petro reserve would be out of oil in a month because we'd be embargoed, egged on by the reporting of our own home-grown enemy press.

Unless nukes are the last resort for incoming barrage from China orRussia, then they will never be used onesy-twosie.

And, what if, horror of horrors.....what if one of our nukes that the left has kept us from testing/training with....with if it fails or the guidance fails? ....look at the Korean incident vis-a-vis missile interceptors....if we actually tried to shoot it down and missed for whatever simple reason, even if it was perfectly explainable, a single miss would have completely erased any deterrent that missile defense has.

Anyway, until we get our "anti-war" "stop-the-war" socialist fifth-columnists under control, the US military is going to remain in the "vietnam syndrome" in which they have been painted.
