Knee high socks - with garters.

I'm very aware of Highland dress, modern and ancient. But a dirk is still a very large knife -- way too large and heavy for wearing in the hose. That is where the little sgian dubh is worn.

I have two sgians dubh; and was tempted to buy a dirk with frog at the Games a couple of weeks ago.

We need to have a "Clan Freeper" meeting at the Games next year. I assume you meant you were at the Grnadfather MT Highland games I bet tons of freepers are there.
