Actually, those were gifts from the girls to me one Christmas. They go to the dollar store to do their shopping. The necklaces are quite pretty, even if they are inexpensive.
I teased them unmercifully about buying them just so they could borrow them for their pictures. LOL!

Have you ever been to Fire Mountain Gems? They have a huge selection of all types of beads and jewelry making supplies. They send fat color catalogs for free, too!
I'm not a big-time beader, but I dabble in it now and again. I've made myself a few pieces, but mostly I make fashion doll jewelry.
(Ha, ha! -> Mama Texan plays with dolls)
:-)
Oh my, you will REALLY love what Billie does then (with dolls).Maybe someone who has the links can post some of the Doll threads. She makes DOLLS FOR US .. many here also do it but she got us started & hooked!
Thanks for the link. will save for future reference.
Currently I get most of my semiprecious beads at a shop in Canton OH. I have a LOT of inventory at this point but bead to jewelry maker are like fabric to a seamstress.. never have enough & love to get the bargains, needed or not!
