I have come upon much Freeper wit, humor and intelligence over the years, and would appreciate any input.
thanx
interesting
I like it... pretty clever: conversion of a picture to a sketch so that labels like media and fraudphotos can be applied - is this called cartoonification?
Pretty good concept. Maybe needs more of a middle-east slant to the faces/background, etc. But a good concept and execution...(punnot intended).
Obviously, from comments, some aren't aware of the original photo you're using, the Saigon execution. Here's a link to the photo.

However, the fraud executing the media is deeper then just being caught at bad photo editing, I think your executioner would be better served as being the Blogosphere. IMHO.
i want to leave it open, where the viewer may begin to rightfully question the media's roll throughout all modern history.
these 'news' organizations havent just started with fraudulent behavior and ulterior motives.
if not for the internet and bloggers everywhere, we just never would have know so clearly as now.
by the by, the photogrpaher,Eddie Adams won the 1969 pulitzer for the photo.

The target was news photographers?
I think you've hit your mark.
I was in the Nam - 66-68
I'm sorry, I'm certainly no expert, but it looks like a tracing to me.
I like it!
Keep them up!
Traced your first political cartoon?
< Maybe needs more of a middle-east slant to the faces/background, etc. >
Ummm...there's a reason the faces are asian.
Hint: think Viet Nam. It's a famous photo.
I am very aware of the source of that photo. Very very aware.
But in this case, the cartoon has to mimic closely the original to serve it's point.
Sorry, I missed your sarcasm.
It may however hint at a lesson they learned of the power of one photograph in an agenda driven news story.
IMO this will blow over and they will still doctor photos. Its the hollywoodization of reporting the news. Like Jerry Rivers the best "show" you can create is much better than the actual news.
