Let's try that again...

...calls for putting 30,000 Lebanese and U.N. troops along the Israel-Lebanon border, where Hezbollah militants have been fighting against Israel.

The UN has no troops, as the AP well knows. They have only what other countries deign to give them. So who will these troops be? Who will be insane enough to put troops in a country to be the buffer between Israel and a terrorist group sworn to destroy her?

I know France is in. Presumably Lebanese troops will join them. How much of a difference there is between Hezbollah and the Lebanese Army I don't know. Any other countries going in?

NZ is already volunteering to send troops. Australia said NO.
