It is time for Israel to take this deal. Bush would not have let the UN come to this agreement unless he had judged that Israel had hopelessly muffed the operation. At this point, if not stopped, even with the HZB victory here implied, it will settle into a continuing war of attrition which the Saracens can stand forever. Israel only loses slowly that way. This operation was entered into with punches pulled and plans ignored. It was doomed from the getgo and should not have been launched while a squeamish pantywaiset is the PM. Israel has probably forfeited much of its special relationship with Washington by its demonstration of unreliability. Israel may even have converted itself to a net liability in the Islamic War. When Israel throws in the towel America loses a lot of its moral ground and support for its fight against Iran and the Jihad.
