"You are attempting to impute collective guilt to the entire Muslim religion for the actions of a few."
Yes I am. Simply because they are the needles in a hay stack. Also if you read some of the statistics most of the hay is bad hay as well.
Have you read some of the statistics out of the middle east? most Muslims do not believe Muslims did the attacks of 911. I would like to know more on those statistics and find out who they believed did the attacks. I think we know that answer though.

"It could, and it would be a moral abomination. Killing all to get a few is genocidal."
yes I agree with you completely. I agree with you more then you might think. The problem is it will happen because the terrorist sooner or latter will use nukes and our response will be genocidal. The hay stack will be burned.

The IRA was killing in the name of their Catholicism against the Protestant British crown. Please. The IRA was a nationalist movement by Irish who wanted independence from the British Crown. The Catholic/Protestant garbage is a red herring meant to show the EEEVil Irish Catholics and their extremism. Anti-Papism is the name of That game. There is Very little evidence of Catholicism playing any part in the Irish Civil War.

Have you read some of the statistics out of the middle east? This is not the Middle East. It is the United States of America.
The subject of this thread is American Muslims. So your statistics are meaningless.

From Wikipedia,
In modern times, the jizya and zakat taxes have been replaced by more modern forms of taxation.
What these forms are I don't know, but jizya is no longer in practice.
And, what about the Christian minorities in Arab nations, anyway? They're Christian, don't pay the jizya since it is no longer in practice, and still exist as a minority.

I disagree with the quote at face value. It obviously does not make it any better with regard to being a good American. I don't contest that.

Irish protestants Love British rule.
How many Protestants were fighting on the side of the IRA?
Gee, how many pearlies were fighting on the side of the IRA? I guess that makes them anti-pearlie.

An American serviceman got murdered because they accidentally bumped into a Muslim woman.
They are barbarians.

I'm late to this thread, but to me, the answer is yes. A good Muslim can be a good American. A much higher percentage of Muslims have assimilated into society in the US than in Europe.

Don't throw any cold water on the fire storm. It is anti-cathartic.

I've avoided this embarrassment of a thread for long enough.
Hope there's room at the Inn for me too.

Here in NYC the Arab community was established over a century ago. I guess they were just being patient.

Hope there's room at the Inn for me too. This is America. The Inn is quite large. :)
The next time some leftist comes up to you and tells you that diversity is great and that assimilation is cultural genocide, you can ask him this: Why haven't we had the same acts of terrorism by HOME-GROWN Muslims that the UK and other European countries have had?
For the vast majority of Muslims here, American freedom beats the crap out of Sharia.

Your husband seen the serviceman bumped the Muslim lady and right away they killed the serviceman?
Where was this?

Maybe that should be part of the questioning to enter the country. Will you accept other religions to live freely?

If the Bible is your authority for civil law, then you are a theocrat. The Bible is not my authority for civil law. The Bible orders me to obey the civil law of such country I may inhabit, temporarily or by birth, so long as such obedience does not conflict with faith principles (i.e. compulsory Islamic prayer or prohibition of Christian worship).
Do I escape your label?
