The thing is, its not about comfort it's about safety. Get a pack of mints to help with your thist.
"More like eight hours"
More like one hour. That is how long the episode is. His brother eddie would have done it with style.
Shoreha Agadashoo (sp?). She's incredible. And very frank about terrorism and who's to blame. She's from Iran and knows she'd be murdered upon stepping foot back in her homeland.
That works for me. How about you?
Do you know which airport is was for?
It's been on MSNBC for about an hour.
The airline would still be able to provide you with drinks from on board.
You don't think there are disaffected non-Muslims who could be enlisted to do these things?
Terrorists exploit weaknesses, and screening only certain groups leaves everybody else wide open for recruiting.
Remember this is England, they might have sports drinks for sale there that could be packaged in opaque bottles. A google search should be able to confirm.
My only question is if some these suspects are still on the loose what is to stop them from trying this on a bus, subway or crowded street in London as a backup plan?
Since I'm not familiar with explosives, what kind of damage would the amount of this liquid explosive caused. Would it have blown a hole in the plane causing it to crash...or would it have done damage by killing people inside the plane.
Full flight, two drunks fighting in first class, people ringing for pillows and blankets . . . They can't get the drink cart through the plane twice on a Houston-to-L.A. flight. You really think the stews can - or will - get everyone drinks every time they're asked?
1 All carry on items LOCKED in the overhead compartments at the beginning of the flight. No access by passengers during flight.
2 No more luggage on board. Ship it separately via ground or air.
Not so far fetched. Maybe eliminate all carry on items, period.
I wonder if the passenger lists were of their fellow 'brethren' coming here to carry out the attacks? If the guy in custody who worked in security works for the same airline the list is from, I'd say there is a definite connection.
Do you have a source? I believe you, but I'd like to have a source, if possible.
Yeah, well, maybe, But Chuck Norris would have just frowned at the bottle and the explosive would have hidden in fear and detonated in the terrorists pants.
For Gatorade bottles, sure. Still, there are plenty of energy drinks and other common, trendy beverages that you could put a false bottom in. (And I hear Red Bull gives you wings...possible terrorist escape plan?)
Seriously, though, I'm guessing that the bombers were each going to carry on one bottle of a specific but common brand of "sport drink" sold in the UK. Same bottle per person, same mixture of explosive, so they'd know exactly how much bang they were getting per drink.
I don't, let me go back and look through some of the stories.
But yes, makes a lot of sense.
Yeah, I would think so. I haven't flown since Jun 04 (not for lack of wanting, though) and we were thoroughly searched in Florida. No 'outside' drinks were allowed on board then. People were pitching all sorts of things into the trash to 'clear' customs. I thought I was all good because I had packed according to the strict rules, except for the bottled water. On the plus side, beverage sales in the terminals were booming, pre and post flight.
