We don't believe in the notion of God's Chosen People. We laugh at this people's capriciousness and weep at its misdeeds. To act as God's Chosen People is not only stupid and arrogant, but a crime against humanity. We call it racism.

Limits to tolerance

There are limits to our patience, and there are limits to our tolerance. We do not believe in divine promises as a justification for occupation and apartheid. We have left the Middle Ages behind.

I agree his protestations are more appropriate to radical Islam than to the Jews. An Arab can live in Israel and be accorded respect and safety but a Jew or a Christian living in a Muslim country will be persecuted. The problem is Islam not the Jews. Even if there were no Jews in the world Islam would be at war with any culture that refuses to submit to its will i.e. the Philippines , India, Indonesia etc. and a host other nations where Islam has displayed its intolerance and its hate.

Can't disagree with these points:

Does anyone seriously believe that any group of humans are "Gods chosen people"? I can't see how anyone could disagree with this.

Again, who can disagree? Does anyone seriously believe that God supports Israel over Palestine or the is in favor of the invasion of Lebanon, or the occupation of the West Bank.

You can disagree with the man, but these points seem pretty reasonable.

Frankly, I think it bizarre that a *Norwegian* should give a damn about Israel one way or the other.
