"Atlanta's Hartsfield Airport has just warned passengers not to bring any liquids aboard the plane."

On all flights or on international flights?

ALL liquids on ALL flights are banned on carry-on luggage. The only exception--baby formula (along with a baby) and medicine, but the medicine must be in your name.

Security at Atl. Hartfield backed up 1 hour. Terminal is full and people are having to wait outside.

If Hartsfield is backed up, then most of the country's airports are also backed up. Arrive at the airport 2 hours before flight.
