I always thought that one on the beach might have been posed to show they were still a couple.

Here is the thing I learned about BMI: if your BMI is over 25, it is bad.
However, when predicting whether someone is going to die within the next five years, a BMI _below_ 25 is bad.
Go figure.

No other similar photos ever surfaced. The timing was suspicious.
There was no music and no one SAW the photo until they "complained" about it.

The BMI idex they use now is just another ploy by "healthcare" professionals to have us all on some kind of program. Just another way to get money from us. Fortunately, most people don't fall for it. The people usually trapped by it are teen age girls who develop eating disorders trying to keep themselves skinny enough so they won't cast a shadow!
I used to lift weights, power lifting, and I was considered overweight by the BMI idex even though my subcue fat was very low.
You can't please the dimwits. If President Bush had been 176, they would have said he was having serious eating problems. He can't win with them no matter what he does. Best he just ignore the dumb a**es.

Yep. Well done actually for a press spin viewpoint. Ten points for a good come back but minus 50 for getting caught with an intern and a cigar in the first place.

It looks to me as if Teddy is smuggling Canadian whiskey as his dad did. The only difference is, his dad used boats for the purpose and Teddy is using his own blood stream to accomplish the task.

Setting Boundaries, June 20, 2006 "I just love Dr. Newman's book. I'm a very over-committed person who hates to NOT please everyone. This book really empowered me to just say "NO" and learn to set boundaries for the people in my life."

some, such as football linebackers, have higher body fat levels as well.Felica Stoler cleary doesn't understand the difference between a lineman and a linebacker. I'm willing to bet she grew up somewhere like the Upper West Side and attended a college like NYU, safely sheltered from reactionary influences like football.

His BMI was 26, putting him in the lower range of the overweight category. He weighs 196 pounds, meaning he has gained 5 pounds since last year and his percentage of body fat has increased to 16.8 percent, which is, overall, pretty good for a man who just turned 60. BMI is a ridiculous measure. It doesn't distinguish between lean and fat mass, and it makes no allowances for differences between males and females. Females tend to weigh less than males of the same height. How many 60 year-olds have less than 17% body fat?

How many would see 5'11" and 157lbs as "healthy"?
