One thing about Montana, if you are anything other than white....you definitely stand out.
We get brochures for land for sale in Montana sometimes. We took a vacation one year and decided to check it out. We had a hard time finding the sellers. Evidently there are used to selling site unseen. Anyway, it was in the mountains, out in the middle of nowhere. Very pretty. We stopped at a convenience store leaving. The clerk knew everyone in there. Not by name maybe but she knew. She also told us to make sure if we bought , that we were actually buying what we thought we were. So... I guess no matter where you hide, you have to come out sometime and people see you and watch:')
