Since anti-war protestors outside President Bush's Crawford Ranch have been unsuccessful in their attempts to talk directly with the president, today they wrote letters to him, placed the notes inside helium-filled balloons and released them.
They hope the balloons will end up on the president's property, and he will read the notes.

Sounds like a good time to take up target shooting.

I'd suggest some lemonade, a 20 gauge with 8 shot and a modified choke.

I thought it was illegal to release balloons. Environmentally dangerous for wildlife don't you know.

This one time, like eight months ago, I saw two guys kissing in a park. And that was the gayest thing I'd ever seen, until I saw this stunt.

Yes. PETA will soon be concerned about the armadillos with high voices.

To any and all residents of Crawford: file a littering complaint with local law enforcement cite Sheehan once for each balloon that comes to rest on your property or on town/county/state property that you witness.

I would think it is illegal to launch items onto someone else's private property even if it is a lame attempt.

They hope the balloons will end up on the president's property, and he will read the notes. Just as realistic as most liberal ideas.

But, but, I thought these people were
Environmentally Conscious©!!! Everyone knows that releasing helium balloons harms innocent creatures who might eat them and DIE!!!!
I just can't believe Cindy and her friends would ever do such a thing.

Cindy's other activity of the day....
Peace activist Cindy Sheehan, a vocal opponent of President George W. Bush and the war in Iraq that claimed the life of her son, fills out a voter registration card Tuesday at the Crawford post office. In the background is a photo of President Bush and the Crawford seal. Sheehan, who recently bought property in Crawford, is spending this August much as she spent August 2005 - protesting the president's Middle East policies.

I thought the envirowackos were opposed to balloons being released into the sky?

It doesn't say how many of these loons are out there "protesting." For all we know it could be Cindy and 2 other people. In any case, it is pretty sad these people who are so filled with guilt for being Americans, continue to get news coverage as if they are a legitimate force.
