Americans don't "hate" in the same way as some of our more barbaric enemies "hate".
There is no passion to be enjoyed in destroying our self appointed enemies.
We destroy them because we must, not because we derive any particular pleasure from their destruction.
I don't enjoy killing roaches and fire ants.
It is a thing I do, so fire ants and roaches do not attack my person or my home, and cause me harm or illness.
