This scandal is proof that the MSM is totally clueless about just how fast people can fact-check in the modern Internet age. They still haven't learned from the Rathergate fiasco.

saying that he was trying to remove dust marks and that he made mistakes due to the bad lighting conditions he was working under That isn't going to fly! He needs to take his cue from certain senior American journalists and claim that the smoke was darker before but he couldn't get his camera out so he had to modify the later photo and thus the photograph was "fake but accurate".

I should try that "bad lighting" excuse the next time i drop trow in front of a date. Roiders News Agency just proved they are incapable of editorial control and is permissive of terrorsist propaganda. Add them to the list of terrorist sympathizers and to the Enemies of Freedom list.

Where are their Editors?! If some pajamahadeen can figure out the photo has been doctored, the editor should be able to.

Hah Hah!
Surely even Al Reuters doesn't belive their own BS.
As for the moonbat "Editor and Publisher" the less said about those suckers the better.
They are simply beyond the pale.

Hajj's entire portfolio of 900-plus photos at Reuters has been pulled.
I guess they're scared s**tless that the New Media will find a whole slew of other "Reutered" photos.

"The photographer has denied deliberately attempting to manipulate the image, saying that he was trying to remove dust marks and that he made mistakes due to the bad lighting conditions he was working under," said Moira Whittle, the head of public relations for Reuters, on Sunday. Is this the same Moira Whittle that is a British contact for Al Jazeera International?
