I didn't know we had so many FReepers from SGValley.
I remember that theater and used to go to that very In-n-Out.
Anyone remember The Donut Hole near LPH?
Born & raised (in the SGV and on In-N-Out). Moved back about six years ago from Long Beach. I remember the Donut Hole. My dad was a sheriff and worked the City of Industry station for a long time so..., well you can do the math... (heh, heh). Temple City/El Monte In-N-Out (on Lower Azusa Rd.) was my base of operations.
BTW, for donuts these days, it's...

Don't remember the do nut hole. But I do remember that French American baker in La Puente, it made the best sourdough bread on the planet. And I got my first haircut in Puente at Jack Wallace's barber shop...on main street.

You did the bumper sticker thing too, it would appear...

I sure hope nothing gets changed. I am afraid some big chain will come in and buy them out. That will be the end as far as I am concerned. They just opened a new store in my home town and I am very happy.

Great reference -- thanks
One of the advantages of being raised in SoCal. That and Carls Jr.
Until I started travelling as a young adult, I didn't know that there are places that are so hamburger deprived.

Is the Donut Hole still there?
It was one of the last of the SoCal unique architecture explosion.
I am going to see what Google comes up with

It's why the no longer give out bumper stickers cuz people would cut the B and the R off an then stick them on their bumpers

Watch for a big lawsuit to happen as there are family members who are feuding over the company and it's direction (the young grand daughter is supposedly being advised to expand IN N OUT nationally and other family memembers are against it.

Donuts?
Winchell's. Best glazed donuts anywhere. The size of a Forklift tire and lighter than air!!
I have NO IDEA why people go crazy for Krispy Kremes -- I have had them and they are boring and bland, to say the least.

This reference seems to say it is still in business.
I remember in high school we used to want to have the Oscar Meyer Weinermpoile drive through the Donut Hole (for obvious reasons).
