"Aldrete-Davila is suing the Border Patrol for $5 million for violating his civil rights."
Let's see...
Immunity from a felony prosecution AND 5 million bucks.
Ain't America great.

It is a violation of Border Patrol regulations to go after someone who is fleeing," she said. "The Border Patrol pursuit policy prohibits the pursuit of someone. This is an unbelievably stupid thing for a DA to say. The fact is Border Patrol Agents can pursue any person that flees and most certainly a fleeing felon.

While these two guys face up to 20 years each, the illegal alien Border Patrol agent who admitted smuggling at least 100 other illegals across the border got 5 years last week.

Sad. These men are good candidates for a pardon when W leaves office.

shooting him in the back violated his civil rights, the agents didn't know for a fact that he was a drug smuggler, and they broke Border Patrol rules about discharging their weapons and preserving a crime scene. Soooooo, running around in the bush with dope smugglers that are armed to the teeth and the BP agents are supposed to do exactly WHAT? Blow kisses and beg "purdy please?"
In my not so humble opinion the prosecutor is a trator and a worthless b1+ch. Lets stick HER out there with no firearm and no backup and see how she likes it...

I would have expected this crap coming from a cClinton administration. That was one of the reasons I voted for George Bush the first time. I thought that as President he would prosecute the Clinton Crime Cartel for the violations of the law they committed. Was I ever disappointed!
Our Servicemen/women are being prosecuted for defending themselves. At Gito, thanks to the alcu and ambulance chasing lawyers aided and abetted by the Supremc Court and msm, it is our guards that fear the confined terrorists, not the other way around.
With the termites, traitors, and enemy sympathers in in high places of power hat are dedicated to seeing us lose this war I do not see how we can win until they are eraducated.
This is sickening.

Sounds like how we fight our wars now: shoot the enemy and YOU get sent to the brig in chains.
Let's just surrender and convert to Islam, the President says it's a religion of peace...

Just more proof that being an American citizen, and trying to do your job, is a real handicap in this out of control PC "one world" B.S. era.
The illegals have "rights" they should not, our L.E. is hog-tied six ways from Sunday in regards to actually enforcing the laws against invasion.
This witch-hunt is clearly intended to intimidate BP/ICE agents into NOT doing their jobs, some one from the open border/easy drug access lobby is behind this.
It looks like citizens may have to form masked "vigilance committee's" to take up the slack, very soon.
In which case there is no reason to restrict enforcement of the anti-invasion laws to the border area.
If you are having ANY sort of work contracted out, demand that the contractor prove their workers are all legal.
If they can't, or won't, find another company to deal with.
Stopping the jobs won't stop the drugs, but it might drive out some of the invaders.

Time for a full pardons ! Otherwise, just close down all our border patrol offices. Send all the BP agents home. Put up huge sign saying, "We don't need no freaking border patrol." Send teams of official greeters to give flowers and candy away to all the border jumpers.

"Most BP agents who are Hispanic have family from Mexico. He was born in the U.S. and raised in Mexico and came back to do high school and later became an agent." Great. The Border Patrol agent is, himself, an anchor baby.
Doesn't ANYONE see the conflict of interest here?

After this case, we should just hire some senior citizens to stand at the boarder to act as "Walmart Greeters".
"Greetings, welcome to our country, have a nice day". "I can't chase you or shoot you, so come right on in".

As a retired officer who worked the border over 33 years this will signal open season on our Border Patrol agents. It was dangeous enough before. Why not issue them water pistols? No that might frighten the smugglers.

Thanks for posting the story Norm, I saw it last night on Lou Dobbs. He was incensed and vowed to report on this every step of the way.
