How about giving the law abiding citizens their guns back for starters, but she wants the nanny state to direct all things.
Why not use the usual Democrat response and just raise taxes and use the money for law enforcement and rebuilding? /Sarc
well what choice did they have? letting landrieu get the city would have led to a predictable landrieu political machine running the city.
The only thing Mary is worried about is that her constituent base is killing each other in droves. She is getting exactly what she deserves and the Feds should just tell her to take a hike and get her own state government to do what needs to be done, before there are no dimocraps left.
New Orleans was disfunctional way before Katrina hit and actually Nagin is a reform mayor. Dutch Morial started the decline and Marc Morial finished it off as he left office prior to Nagin's election. IMO-Nagin has completely lost his mind, maybe due PTSD or something but he is as looney as they get.
They do need the National Guard in there to protect the good people as the thugs are killing each other in droves. They need some leadership in all of Louisiana but I don't see much coming from anywhere.
Why not thank HER father "Moon" Landrieu for being one of the early birds to help New Orleans on it's path to destruction! Yep, it is in their dimwitted, demo, blood!
I'm not sure we actually need federal funds to set up a trebuchet at the foot of Canal Street and turn the West Bank into a shooting gallery, using Louisiana's political class as ammo.
