You just don't have a real clue what is at stake if Ford wins.

You people that want to teach the Republicans a lesson will rue the day and the whole nation will have to suffer.

I am going to hold my nose as I have had to do forever in the senate race, and vote for Corker.

No the ones who don't have a clue are the Rockefeller Republican Democratic Party agenda enablers who voted for Bush and the rest of his Corporate Globalist Buddies in the name of the GOP. GWB=LBJ on domestic spending a Social Programs and the Moderate Rocky GOP sings "For He's a Jolly goof fellow" as he now gives away our nation to Mexico. And you're worried about Harold Ford JR? Oh my sides.

Some of us have known for a decade what was at stake and sounded the alarm even against those within the GOP. But Party before nation voters and party propaganda scare tactics always makes certain Liberalism in both parties wins. A very small problem Ford is compared to that. The Republicans do need to be taught a lesson ala Whigg and a Conservative Constitutional Party replacement the result. As long as voters keep on enabling the Rockefeller GOP and DEMS {who are one and the same} though it won't happen now will things improve. The GOP has in the past decade handed the DEM's legislation they could not have done in all their years as the majority. I would rather see the pre- 1995 Minority GOP back in power than what we have now simply because they actually stood for something other than DEM LITE agendas.

In Tennessee we survived two senator Gores {I remember both} but they didn't come close to doing the damage of pushing the nation into global socialism the GOP has done since 1995 and especially since 2001. No indeed they could only dream of accomplishing such an agenda but the GOP is making it happen right before our eyes.

As I've said before, I'm not going to try to convince anyone to vote one way or another where the Senate race is concerned. You need to vote your conscience and do what you believe is the right thing to do.

As for rueing the day, I've been doing that for quite some time with regards to the embarrassment that IS the Tennessee Republican Party. I will be supporting State Sen. Jim Bryson for Governor this November, despite some mild apprehensions and worries that he hails from the Buffy & Skipper wing of the Country-Club RINO establishment.

But make no mistake, I will NOT, repeat NOT, under any circumstances, vote to give the thumbs-up to that abomination of a primary "victory" yesterday. Ed Bryant's name will be written-in in November. This is a matter of conscience for me. And, yes, I do know what's at stake, and that's why it pains me so. How can we dare attack our 'Rat opponents with moral authority when our own house has a glaring cancer consuming it from the left ?
