Again, though, doesn't that beg the question as to what exists OUTSIDE of the known universe? Is there nothing SOMEWHERE? Is it possible? (Somewhat serious question)
There is no outside. The universe is everything, although the geometry of the everything is in doubt.
It's all inside; there is no outside. It's like Stein's Okland: there's no there there.
