Most interpretations of New Testament prophecy point to the fact that the Temple must be rebuilt. Only then, can the Anti-Christ defile it.

For this to happen, the Mosque will be destroyed. No one knows how this will occur, but it will occur.

Have you ever consider the possibility that the Mosque itself maybe the abomination of desolation of Daniel? It is indeed an abomination, and Jesus said that such abomination is "standing where it ought not" (Mark 13:14). If that were the case, there's no need to rebuild the Temple, all of the end-of-times signs have already taken place!
