I'm not nor have I ever criticized him for his movie. I'm criticizing him for endangering the lives of others by driving drunk, and for the disgusting racist sexist statements he made. Glad to clear that up for you.

The folks jumping on Mel hardest are the same ones who hated him before, because he dared to make a movie about another person they apparently hate - Jesus Christ.

Not sure why this was directed at me - I supported the making of The Passion. And while the anti-semitic comments he made were disgusting, so was calling an officer "Sugartits" and so was the fact that he was driving drunk.
