I tend to agree with the sentiment, but I was responding specifically to why Hezbullah hides behind women and children. It's not because they think Israel won't strike them, its because they want Israel to strike them. They then parade the dead bodies around and hope either the spineless international community will pressure Israel to stop, or that Israel itself will lose its stomach.
I think the tactic has run its course, though. Israel and even some of the western countries recognize this for what it is and have decided to grit it out, placing blame on Hezbullah for the deaths.
It's very sad to see children die like this, and gut wrenching to know that you have no choice but to fight Hezbullah on their terms like this. I'm sad, but unwavering at this point. There is no choice. The alternative is to let Hezbullah get back on its feet and eventually get stronger with better weapons and cause more damage in the future. This time above all others there can be no quarter for Hezbullah ... or Hamas for that matter. It's time to stomp on them until they are so weak that saner heads can prevail and perhaps a genuine peace will prevail when its over.
