Did anyone hear or read that the raid was intended to get the two hostages out? I thought I heard that they thought they were in the basement. The five that they did capture were sort of an after thought just to shake the Hezzis up.
And I was really sorry to read that 11 more 'civilians' were killed.
The only place I heard that was here. Pure speculation/guessing on the part of a FReeper when the operation started.
(Of course, there were many, many, folks speculating that night!)

It would make sense. Wonder if they managed to rescue them. Suppose nobody would say for a good while if they did.
