I really hate to be superstitious but my gut feeling tells me to stay home.

We have to keep on going - or they win.
That said, I'm a firm believer in 'gut feel'. There could be reasons other than 8/22-12th-imam-coming, terror threats that your gut is telling you to stay home.
If it's a strong feeling, then stay home.

If you do go in, as always - be careful and be prepared.
