You may be assured my friends that I support Israel. I am a retired US military officer, 35+ years in uniform. I go to Israel and around there in the region every year; last year to Israel, Egypt and Jordan. Was in Amman on the first day of Ramadan in 2005, in Jerusalam two days later watching Jews and Palestinian Arab Muslims celebrate Passover and Ramadan, shoulder to shoulder, with their children, and not one problem even in the crowd such as I had never seen in Jerusalem. I am going back to Israel, and around, maybe to Egypt, Jordan again, Lebanon, Syria, possibly even Iraq, without much fear again this year from Sept-Nov. I support an Israeli doctoral student in underwater archaeology study, am financing the student and the student's project with personal funds, fundraising.
