The Republican National Committee's eCampaign Director -- Patrick Ruffini -- has sent out an e-message to America. Writes Ruffini:
"A group of prominent conservative bloggers is turning discussion into action with the launch of Rightroots an effort to support some of the most important House and Senate candidates of this election cycle..."
A visit to the newly online "Rightroots" website shows a listing of GOP candidates deemed "the most important House and Senate candidates for this 2006 election cycle." Included in this select group: Diana Irey -- Congressman John Murtha's PA District 12 opponent!
The brand new website serves as a collecting house as well. Visitors can contribute to any or all of the selected candidates. As of today, candidate Diana Irey has received the most $$ contributions.
This national highlighting of the Pennsylvania race between Irey and Murtha underscores what BootMurtha.com is saying: Rep. John Murtha is an all-American problem. More and more Americans are realizing this and are contributing what they can in time, talent and money to unseat this congressman.
W would be an excellent idea. And I'm guessing it will happen. It ain't going to be Hastert pulling the GOPs bacon out of the fire. Bush is a great campaigner.
WOW--that's 10 times more than she had yesterday! That is amazing and excellent!! Hope Murtha knows.....
"Prince of Pork."
We will grind up his snout, and sell it to a cheap hot dog factory!
BRAVO, Chris!!
Thank you, sjb. Thanks for reading again. I appreciate it.
Man, I just put in a 14 hour day. And I leave for Scottsdale at 4 am......don't worry, I will build you a house.
This is why I work in accounting.
:-)
Now go get some sleep.
OK Coop........where are the stinkin polls!!??
in 10 minutes.....I ain't et all day : )
Volley bump!
Most interesting.
$4,569 for Irey at 2:04am PST on Aug. 3rd. It's rising fast!
Whoops! I see you saw the same total ($4,569) as me much earlier. Either the counter's broken or (hopefully) just shut down for the night.
BTTT
Then we disagree. :-)
I think they update the candidate totals periodically by hand. If you look at the total donations counter at the bottom, it seems to update automatically. It's at $23,5xx right now and was under $21K when I went to bed. Less than 3K to go for Rep. Kingston to kick in $14K.
Good morning ping!
I'm keeping 'em in my back pocket, to release 'em at just the right time!
Perhaps. But I'm going to predict Irey will side with me.
Well, duh! :-)
